History of Facet of Defiance

Overview

The Facet of Defiance is a Prismatic Fragment in the Transgression area of the Pale Heart, reached through The Impasse.

Acquisition

Load into The Impasse and go into The Transgression. Reach the large opening with the impaled-man statue, then turn left into a cave. A seed in the cave grants the Shielded From Darkness buff, which must be kept up throughout. Inside, shoot the hidden Acolyte Eyes to break enemy shields. Destroying eyes spawns enemies that must be defeated before more eyes appear. Eventually a Tormentor appears and drops a Prismatic Key, which opens the chest containing the Facet.

Effect

Finishers create a detonation whose type depends on the damage type of the equipped Super: it can Jolt, Scorch, Slow, Sever, or make targets Volatile.
