Overview

Fabled Mission: The Invitation is the Fabled difficulty version of Mission: The Invitation, a story mission from Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate set on Kepler. An invitation has been sent. See what awaits.

The opening mission of the campaign: follow Ikora Rey into the Oort Cloud, obtain Matterspark, and defeat the Exile Overseer (a Servitor) and the Vessel of the Archon (three Archon-like Fallen).

Launching and difficulty

Fabled is a harder tier than the Legendary campaign, though easier than a Grandmaster Nightfall. Sources recommend at least 150 Power, and bringing a fireteam or a very durable build. Fabled missions are replayed from Kepler; see Fabled Missions, World Tier: Fabled and the Explore Kepler: Fabled quest. The Explore Kepler: Fabled quest guides we opened name only Charge, Commencement, Gouge and Quarantine as required replays, so check in game for how this specific mission is offered (the game lists Fabled as a random Time Latch mission launch).

Rewards

Completing Fabled missions grants Kepler gear and progress toward Fabled Missions triumphs; the Game Rant guide mentions powerful loot via Kepler World Tier but gives no per-mission table. Exact drops for this mission are unconfirmed.
