History of Fabled Mission: The Invitation

Overview

Fabled Mission: The Invitation is the Fabled difficulty version of Mission: The Invitation, a story mission from Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate set on Kepler. An invitation has been sent. See what awaits.

The opening mission of the campaign: follow Ikora Rey into the Oort Cloud, obtain Matterspark, and defeat the Exile Overseer (a Servitor) and the Vessel of the Archon (three Archon-like Fallen).

Launching and difficulty

Fabled is a harder tier than the Legendary campaign, though easier than a Grandmaster Nightfall. At least 150 Power is recommended, and a fireteam or a very durable build helps. Fabled missions are replayed from Kepler; see Fabled Missions, World Tier: Fabled and the Explore Kepler: Fabled quest, which requires replaying Charge, Commencement, Gouge and Quarantine. The Fabled version of this mission is launched as a random Time Latch mission.

Rewards

Completing Fabled missions grants Kepler gear and progress toward Fabled Missions triumphs. Powerful loot comes from the Kepler World Tier.
