Eyes on Atheon

Overview

Eyes on Atheon is a triumph in Destiny 2 worth 10 score. It is part of the Vault of Glass raid and requires the player to defeat Atheon, Time’s Conflux, without destroying any Supplicants.

How to complete

The triumph is earned in the final Atheon encounter of the Vault of Glass raid, which is not a weekly challenge. Kill Atheon while no Supplicants are destroyed.

1. Keep away from Supplicants from the start of the encounter. Atheon summons them, and they are explosive Harpies that spawn after Atheon teleports three random fireteam members.
2. Do not damage them. A Supplicant that is hit and then self-destructs counts as a kill and fails the triumph. A Supplicant that self-destructs without taking any damage does not count.
3. Check each Harpy before you shoot. Idle Supplicants that have not attacked look similar to active ones, so confirm the target is a Supplicant before you fire.
4. Keep the Throne team on elevated surfaces, which keeps Supplicants from self-destructing near them.
5. In the damage phase, everyone should damage Atheon from the floating island directly in front of it. Fighting near the portal staircase can send Supplicants into your line of fire.
6. When the damage buff on the team is almost used up, jump out the back rather than to the side, since side jumps often lead to Supplicant explosions.
