History of Extinguish

Overview

Extinguish is a modifier used in Grandmaster Nightfall. It is a standard part of the Grandmaster modifier set and is often paired with Limited Revives.

Effect

If the fireteam falls inside a Restricted Zone, the whole fireteam is returned to orbit, not just the player who fell. Guides describe the strike as having to be restarted from the beginning, so the attempt cannot be retried from the encounter where the wipe happened.
