History of Expedition: Nessus

Overview

Expedition: Nessus is the third mission of the Expedition Seasonal Arena playlist from Season of Plunder, added in the season's third week. It plays on Nessus (the Arcadian Valley) and is matchmade or Customize. Siblings: Expedition: Europa and Expedition: Cosmodrome.

How to launch

Finish steps 1 and 2 of the "Sails of the Shipstealer" quest, then queue the Expedition playlist from the H.E.L.M. beside the Ketchcrash icon. Missions are chosen by the playlist, not individually.

Encounters and mechanics

It uses the standard Expedition loop: defend the drill at two sites and throw golden engrams into the Treasure Haul cart; deal with signal jammers; escort the cart (Overload Saboteur Captains block it; Unstoppable Ruffians, see Champion, steal treasure during drilling); then defend the haul in a final arena. The boss is a Raiding Servitor at the Cistern. The Vex enemies appear on Nessus.

Rewards

Glimmer, gear and Savvy reputation, plus bonus chests if you have an active Treasure Map. The pool is shared with the other Expeditions (six weapons, five armor sets; see rewards list).
