History of Exotic Armorer

Overview

Exotic Armorer is a Triumph that requires you to collect 10 pieces of Exotic armor. Its objective is shown as "Exotic armor collected (0/10)" and tracks the number of pieces you collect, whatever their stats or class.

How to complete

1. Decrypt Exotic Engrams. Each decrypt has a chance to give an Exotic armor piece for your class.
2. Use Master Rahool in the Tower to focus engrams for specific pieces. The three options are:

• Daily Decryption Deal: focuses one engram into a chosen armor slot (chest, helm, arms or legs) for 1 Exotic Engram and no Glimmer, Prisms or Shards.
• Advanced Decryption: focuses an engram into an Exotic from one expansion for 1 Exotic Engram, 30,000 Glimmer and 10 Enhancement Prisms. You must own that expansion and already have every armor piece from that engram for your class.
• Precision Decryption: focuses an engram into one exact Exotic for 1 Exotic Engram, 60,000 Glimmer and 2 Ascendant Shards. You must own the expansion and already have that piece.

1. Take Exotic armor from quest and public event rewards as they come up.

Tips

• The fastest route is the free Daily Decryption Deal, because it costs only an engram.
• Advanced and Precision Decryption cost Glimmer and Shards, so save them for pieces you specifically need.
• Only one Exotic armor piece can be equipped at a time, but collecting several pieces still counts toward this triumph.
