History of Exo Challenge

Overview

The Exo Challenge is a weekly rotating activity on Europa, now known as Simulations. It sits above Bray Exoscience, to the left of Cadmus Ridge. Exo Challenges unlock after the Old Secrets, New Challenges quest, and players must have completed the Beyond Light campaign on Europa on the character they are playing. The quest prerequisites reported are Reclaiming Europa, Empire's Fall and The Dark Priestess.

Rotation

The challenge rotates weekly through Agility, Safeguard and Survival simulations. The rotation changes every Tuesday at 1 PM EDT. These details come from Beyond Light-era guides and may have changed since.

Survival simulation

The Survival simulation includes a climb up a mountain through a snowstorm. Its main hazard is the Biting Cold debuff, which stacks up to 10 times. Each stack slows the Guardian and deals damage over time until they warm up by staying near fire spots or by killing enemies and picking up their drops. Lit braziers stop the debuff.
