Ex Diris Catalyst

Overview

Ex Diris Catalyst is a Grenade Logic triumph. It requires defeating 400 targets while using the Ex Diris exotic Grenade Launcher. Completing it unlocks the catalyst for Ex Diris, which gives the Berserk Rush perk. Guides differ on whether the 400 kills unlock the catalyst or a Masterwork upgrade for the weapon.

How to complete

The triumph is tracked by the Targets defeated objective, and it is advanced through the Grenade Logic quest.

1. Get Ex Diris. The weapon came from the Battle Pass on its original release. Equip it.
2. Talk to Banshee-44 in The Tower to start the Grenade Logic quest.
3. Step one: recreate the catalyst by taking down several targets in quick succession without dying.
4. Step two: calibrate data by defeating targets with Ex Diris. Calibration comes from Vanguard Ops, Gambit, Crucible and seasonal playlist activities. This is the slowest step, so plan your sessions around it.
5. Step three: return to Banshee-44 to collect the catalyst.
6. Defeat 400 targets with Ex Diris equipped to complete the triumph. Kills count whenever Ex Diris is the weapon that lands them, so use it in every activity you run for calibration.

Rewards

• The Ex Diris catalyst, which gives the Berserk Rush perk. After a final blow the weapon makes you amplified, and it enrages faster while amplified.

Trivia
