European Aerial Zone (activity)

Overview

The European Aerial Zone (EAZ) is a limited-time, seasonal Solstice social and combat-drill location: a floating island off the Winding Cove made of lifted-up European Dead Zone terrain. The Vanguard sends Guardians here for combat drills and meditation. It is a destination-style activity rather than a power-gated one, so there is no meaningful power or difficulty requirement.

Access

Launch it from the Tower destination directory, or by interacting with the small blue map near the Solstice statue.

Activities and mechanics

• Bonfire Bash: defeat Ignition Carriers, collect Igniters and use them to stoke the central bonfire.
• A public event, "Hunt for Prismatic Taken", also takes place here.

History

First appeared in Season of Opulence and has returned in several later seasons around Solstice, including Season of Arrivals, Season of the Splicer, Season of the Haunted and Season of the Deep. Its availability is tied to the Solstice event window. Solstice rewards come from the event itself.
