History of European Aerial Zone

The European Aerial Zone (EAZ) is a floating island made from lifted sections of the European Dead Zone, described as a ceremonial combat theater for training and meditation. It is believed that Ikora Rey and Warlocks created it as a surprise for Solstice of Heroes, though its origin is murky. It debuted in Season of Opulence and recurs in later seasons (per Destinypedia: Season of Arrivals, Season of the Splicer, Season of the Haunted, Season of the Deep and Episode: Echoes).
Access
Through the Tower's destination directory, or the blue map near the Solstice statue. Eva Levante originally gave Guardians the coordinates in "The Holiday Begins".
Activities
Combat drills, the Bonfire Bash (defeat Ignition Carriers for an Igniter to light a bonfire) and "Hunt for Prismatic Taken" public events against Fallen, Cabal, Hive and Taken.
Elemental days
The zone's modifier rotates by day. Collecting elemental orbs builds an Elemental Charge (30 stacks in the Solstice guides); at the cap you become Empowered. Variants: [[European Aerial Zone: [Arc] Day]], [[European Aerial Zone: [Solar] Day]], [[European Aerial Zone: [Void] Day]], [[European Aerial Zone: [Void] [Stasis] Day]] and European Aerial Zone: PRISM Day (any element counts, empowerment matches your current subclass). Exact rotation has varied by year; check the in-game directory.
