History of Europa Sidearm

Overview

Europa Sidearm is a Beyond Light weapon quest from Variks the Loyal on Europa that rewards the Legendary Sidearm High Albedo. The first step is randomized. The current imported record specifies an Eclipsed Zone Lost Sector chest and 50 Sidearm precision final blows; the archived quest page also records Eclipsed Zone activity/Sidearm kills and an Adept-or-higher Empire Hunt variant. Follow the objective on the quest you have rather than treating one variant as universal.

This quest was introduced in Season 12. Later Variks quest descriptions also show paired objectives can vary, while launch-era guides describe historical unlock conditions. These records do not establish present vendor availability.

Walkthrough

1. Follow the first objective shown on your quest. For the currently imported version, open the Lost Sector chest in the Europa Eclipsed Zone and get 50 precision final blows with Sidearms.
2. Visit Variks the Loyal in Charon's Crossing.
