History of Entry 4: Paper Histories

Overview

Entry 4: Paper Histories is a Triumph in Destiny 2 for the fourth entry of the Sintering lore book, added with Destiny 2: Renegades. It is narrated by the shunned heir of Tex Mechanica, who rejects their father's role in serving the Vanguard. Allied with the wounded soldier Bracus Lume, they argue that a small, committed cell could spark the mass movement needed to free the City from the Vanguard and Caiatl's Cabal. Having erased their name from the foundry's archives, they leave for the frontier to forge a new identity, drawing on hidden records of how Tex Mechanica's weapons once evolved.

The game data tracks progress toward a count of 7 for this triumph. No reward is attached.

How to complete

1. Play through the Renegades quest. Sources list this quest as the way the first five Sintering entries are obtained, and this entry is one of them.
2. Open Collections and check the Sintering book under the Dusk and Dawn lore category to confirm the entry is listed as unlocked.
3. If it is still locked after the quest, the remaining entries of the book are tied to Lawless Frontier missions and the Fire and Ice exotic mission.

Trivia

• The previous entry in the book is Entry 3: A Hierarchy of Pain.
