History of Entry 2: What Mother

Overview

Entry 2: What Mother is a Triumph in Destiny 2 for the second entry of the Sintering lore book, added with Destiny 2: Renegades. The narrator recalls their mother, who died and was cremated three years earlier. They then see her alive again in a crowd, glowing with Solar energy and escorted by a Ghost and two armed Chosen. She rejects them coldly. The narrator concludes that the Light animates the dead and binds them to life, so their fond memories of her have become painful.

The game data tracks progress toward a count of 5 for this triumph. No reward is attached.

How to complete

1. Play through the Renegades quest. Sources list this quest as the way the first five Sintering entries are obtained, and this entry is one of them.
2. Open Collections and check the Sintering book under the Dusk and Dawn lore category to confirm the entry is listed as unlocked.
3. If it is still locked after the quest, the remaining entries of the book are tied to Lawless Frontier missions and the Fire and Ice exotic mission.

Trivia

• The previous entry in the book is Entry 1: The Engine of History.
