Overview

Entry 1: The Engine of History is a Triumph in Destiny 2 for the first entry of the Sintering lore book, added with Destiny 2: Renegades. The entry is narrated by Caiatl during weapon trials in the City. She complains that bureaucrats block costly weapon requests for a battle rifle platform, and she bonds with test unit commander Bracus Lume. She asks the designers to build him a rifle that carries the Tex Mechanica name as "the engine of history."

It requires a count of 4 and grants no reward.

How to complete

1. Play through the Renegades quest. This quest is how the first five Sintering entries are obtained, and this entry is one of them.
2. Open Collections and check the Sintering book under the Dusk and Dawn lore category to confirm the entry is listed as unlocked.
