History of Enduring Snare Refit

Overview

Enduring Snare Refit is a Season 23 catalyst trait on Wish-Keeper, an exotic Strand Combat Bow. It extends the duration of Snareweaver traps, making them last longer on the battlefield and providing more opportunities to utilize the suspension effect against grouped enemies.

Acquisition

Enduring Snare Refit is the first catalyst trait for Wish-Keeper, obtained by completing the "Constellation: Tower" quest. To unlock it:

1. Obtain Wish-Keeper by completing the Starcrossed Exotic Mission on any difficulty
2. Complete the "Constellation: Tower" quest by:

• Locating the beam of light at the Tower
• Using Wish-Keeper to shoot stars in the sky to form a constellation pattern

1. Complete Starcrossed again (Legend difficulty unlocks subsequent catalyst traits)
2. Insert the trait at the Enclave on Mars for 10,000 Glimmer and 3 Enhancement Cores
3. Complete several hundred weapon kills to fully activate the catalyst

Mechanics

Snareweaver creates a pattern of suspension traps when the special arrow hits targets. Enduring Snare Refit extends the duration these traps remain active. Testing in December 2023 showed unmodified traps lasting approximately 10 seconds, with the trait extending that to around 15 seconds.

Weapons

Enduring Snare Refit rolls exclusively on Wish-Keeper. It is the first catalyst trait unlocked in the Constellation series.
