Empyrean Foundation

The Empyrean Foundation was a special community event that concluded Season of Dawn. It began on February 4, 2020.

Overview

Guardians pick up the Bright Future quest from Saint-14 and donate Polarized Fractaline to the restoration effort. Donating 5,000 Fractaline earns a triumph and the Restorative Light emblem.

Stages

The event has seven stages, each requiring more community donations, from 400,000,000 to 9,777,777,000 Fractaline. The Tower Obelisk generates Fractaline weekly, and players can invest Fractaline in destination Obelisks to raise those gains. The final stage was completed on February 26, 2020.

Rewards

Finishing all stages gives every player the Lighthouse Sun shader. After the seventh stage, interacting with the Tower Obelisk plays a cutscene in which the Guardian uses the Lantern of Osiris to rekindle a lighthouse on Mercury, and the triumph and shader are granted afterward.
