History of Emitter

Overview

An Emitter is a Scorn device that releases clouds of Dark Ether during an Ether Ritual. Each one feeds the Ether Harvester.

Role in the Ritual

The Ether Harvester is supported by three Emitters placed at roughly equal distances. Waves of Scorn led by a Dredge Chieftain appear near each Emitter in turn. After a Chieftain is defeated, the Emitter releases a Dark Ether cloud that travels toward the Harvester.

Heroic Version

In the heroic version, if every Dark Ether cloud is shot down before it reaches the Harvester, a giant Chieftain appears in place of the usual Ether Abomination.
