History of Emissary of the Nine

Overview

The Emissary of the Nine is a title for beings chosen by The Nine to enact their will, who negotiate and translate for them; speaking through them makes their eyes glow.

Holders

• Xûr, the first, appointed after the Great Ahamkara Hunt
• Orin, who hosted Trials of the Nine and the Reckoning
• Lodi, the third

Emissaries appear in Destiny 2: Forsaken, Season of the Drifter, Season of Arrivals, Episode: Heresy and Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate. Per Destinypedia an Emissary also helped link the Drifter to The Haul.
