Elder Contestant

Overview

Elder Contestant is a triumph in Destiny 2 that requires the player to complete a full run of the Contest of Elders activity, the harder, repeatable version of Tomb of Elders. Completing this triumph awards 15 score.

How to complete

To earn this triumph, the player must finish one full run of Contest of Elders. A full run is four loops, and each loop ends with rewards. Later loops give bigger rewards regardless of Warden's Judgment standing, so do not reset after a single loop if you want the most loot.

Tips for a full run:

• Track secondary objectives. Completing them earns Warden's Favor (up to three stacks). Failing them removes stacks, and going negative triggers Warden's Punishment.
• Use Favor. Each stack gives an extra chest at each boss, but at three stacks traps appear in every encounter room and elites spawn often.
• Skip the cryopod. If the team has any Favor at the end of a loop, the cryopod encounter can be skipped in the next loop.
• Avoid Punishment Protocol. Entering the loot room with Warden's Punishment stacks activates it.
• Manage revives. Revive tokens are limited. Running out enables the Extinguish modifier, and Model Prisoners grant more.

Skilled teams can finish a full run in under 30 minutes.
