Egregore Link

Overview

Egregore Link is a temporary buff in the Presage Exotic mission aboard the Glykon. Damaging glowing Egregore Spores (with weapons or melee) grants it for about 15 seconds, during which you can cross the translucent Darkness fog or dust gates that otherwise kill you.

How it works

• Spores that look green are recharging; wait for them to turn blue before using them again.
• Nearby fireteammates receive the buff when you trigger it; those too far away must wait for the spore to reset.
• Some rooms require shooting several spores in sequence to keep the buff running.
• Guides note the buff now persists between rooms, allowing some puzzles to be bypassed, so older walkthroughs may differ.

The mechanic recurs in the initial spore room, the electric room and the maze sections of the mission.
