History of Echo Engram

Overview

Echo Engrams are Legendary engrams introduced in Episode: Echoes of The Final Shape. They contain Echoes weapons and armor and are decoded by Failsafe at the H.E.L.M..

Acquisition

• Completing Echoes activities, notably Breach Executable (the best drop rate), while holding a Key.
• Ranking up with Failsafe, and the premium Season Pass.
• Specimen deposits at the H.E.L.M.
• Lower chances from other activities such as Vanguard playlists, Gambit and Crucible.

Use

After completing "Echoes Act 1: A Familiar Voice" you can decode them at Failsafe. Unlocking Primary Engram Focusing comes from the "Specimen ID: NES001" quest. Costs reported by Blueberries: 1 Echo Engram plus 3,000 Glimmer for a random weapon, or 4 engrams plus 3,000 Glimmer for a specific one. Examples: Breachlight and Aberrant Action; armor includes the Untethered Edge set.
