Overview

Duty Bound is a Legendary Kinetic Auto Rifle with an Adaptive Frame. Its perk options include Zen Moment and Rampage. Its flavor text is from Sloane: "Due respect, Commander? I was there when the Hive found us on Earth. I was there when we stopped them on Titan. And I'll be there when we wipe them out."

Acquisition

Duty Bound first appeared in Curse of Osiris as a drop from the Nightfall version of the Savathûn's Song strike. In Season of Arrivals, Sloane gave it to players after they completed her part of the Exodus quest, since the strike was due to be vaulted. It returned in Season of the Risen and is acquired from certain Nightfall weeks. Bungie's item data lists Commander Zavala as its source.
