Dr. Shanice Pell

Overview

Dr. Shanice Pell was a human scientist at the New Pacific Arcology on Titan during the Golden Age. Her lines appear in the flavor text of the Lost Pacific armor pieces.

Research

After her wife died under unknown circumstances, Pell led a deep-space probe project. Interference from the Ishtar Collective and Clovis Bray delayed it, but the probe launched and was sent toward an anomaly. The data it returned made no sense to her, and the signal soon cut out. She put the lab on alert and tried to send her findings across the Sol System. Destinypedia links the anomaly to the Darkness.

Death

At the start of the Collapse, Rasputin sent Exo infantry to seize her research during an evacuation. A Warsat shot down her evacuation shuttle, killing her and everyone aboard.

Final message

In her last recording she said: "This research has to get out. Even if I don't. People have to know what this 'anomaly' is."
