Down on the Farm

Down on the Farm is a lore article in the book To Old Friends, added with Season of the Wish (April 2024). It was written by Ember Hadad, Senior Editor at the City Herald.

The article covers the Farm, a settlement of civilians and Forces of the City officers at the edge of the world. Its residents have faced Shadow Legion bombardment and are reluctant to relocate to the Last City. The Farm has few generators left. Baishan maintains them and the Ether processors, and Naomi, a Forces of the City pilot, runs regular supply flights. Eliksni neighbors Skiris and Riksor helped build a solar cell network, and the article says the Farm's energy output became five times what it had been.
