Disciple-Slayer is the title for the Vow of the Disciple raid seal (19 triumphs), which launched with Destiny 2: The Witch Queen. TheGamer calls it one of the easiest raid titles.

Overview

  • Activity: Vow of the Disciple Raid, including Master difficulty.
  • Title granted: Disciple-Slayer.
  • Time: several runs; the rotating challenges set the pace.
  • Gilding / availability: gilding is not covered by Shacknews or TheGamer; unverified. TheGamer notes no retirement and the raid remains available; no flawless run is needed (Shacknews).
  • Dates: Shacknews' triumph guide is dated 19 April 2022; the raid launched with the Witch Queen expansion (March 2022; day not in opened sources).

Triumphs

  1. Vow of the Disciple (triumph) - complete the raid.
  2. Raid: Vow of the Disciple - collect the raid weapons, armor and cosmetics.
  3. Master Difficulty "Vow of the Disciple" - complete Master.
  4. Clan Fieldtrip - full fireteam of clanmates.
  5. Together in the Deep - all players on the same class.
  6. Dark Charge - all-Arc fireteam.
  7. Dark Flame - all-Solar fireteam.
  8. Dark Abyss - all-Void fireteam.
  9. Swift Destruction - Acquisition challenge: kill three Unstoppable Abominations simultaneously (TheGamer; the earlier text said Champions).
  10. On My Go - kill only enemies that are attacking an Obelisk (the Abated Adherents); TheGamer calls it arguably the hardest challenge.
  11. Base Information - Caretaker challenge: grab one icon at a time.
  12. Handle With Care - every fireteam member stuns the Caretaker once per floor.
  13. Defenses Down - Exhibition challenge: each player kills only one Taken Knight.
  14. Glyph to Glyph - kill each set of Glyphkeepers within 5 seconds of each other.
  15. Looping Catalyst - Rhulk, Disciple of the Witness challenge: maintain the Leeching Essence buff through the first half.
  16. Symmetrical Energy - the second Rhulk challenge: cleanse two totems simultaneously.
  17. Pyramid Conqueror - all encounter challenges on Master.
  18. Secrets of the Sunken Pyramid - loot the two hidden chests.
  19. "Vow of the Disciple" Lore Book Unlocks - unlock the lore book entries (including pages from the Preservation mission).

The mapping of challenge names to encounters is assembled from two guides and may be imperfect; confirm in-game.

The raid badge needs 15 items (6 weapons, an armor set and cosmetics); the Exotic Collective Obligation is not required (TheGamer).
