Devoured Ogre

Overview

The Devoured Ogre is a shielded enemy in Haunted Altars of Sorrow. It appears once the team has banked enough treats for the first wave.

Mechanics

Greedy Ghouls, special Major enemies among the Taken, drop 30 treats each. Each player can carry up to 30 treats at a time, and the team returns them to Sir Skullduggery until 80 are banked. The second wave requires 120 treats and the third requires 160.

When the 80-treat threshold is reached, a Shrieker appears over the enemy altar with a Devoured Ogre inside an immunity shield. Use Hive Magic on the hive debris over the magic circle to turn the Shrieker to your side. It then fires on the ogre and removes the shield, so the ogre can be defeated.

Banked treats can be spent during a one-minute window after a wave is cleared, on defenses such as laser tripwires and turrets.
