History of Destroyer of Heretics

Overview

'''Destroyer of Heretics''' is a triumph in Destiny 2 that requires the player to complete the Pit of Heresy dungeon. It is worth 40 Score. Completing it awards the Sanguine Static emblem.

How to complete

To earn this triumph, the player must successfully finish the Pit of Heresy dungeon.

1. Own the Shadowkeep expansion, which adds the Moon dungeon.
2. Complete The Deepening Wake quest from Eris Morn to unlock the dungeon.
3. Open the destination menu, select the Moon tab, and choose the Pit of Heresy activity icon.
4. Clear the three towers (Knight, Wizard and Shrieker), dunking an orb from each at the central totem. After the third orb, the final boss, Zulmak, kneels and becomes vulnerable for a short damage phase.
5. Finish the dungeon. The triumph completes when the run ends.

Tips: the triumph only needs the dungeon completed, so any fireteam that clears it counts. The solo, flawless emblem and badge are separate rewards and are not part of this triumph.
