History of Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris

Overview

Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris was the first expansion for Destiny 2, released on December 5, 2017. It sends the Guardian to Mercury to rescue the legendary Warlock Osiris from the Vex and avert a dark future, with his former student Ikora Rey closely involved.

Content

• The story is set in the Fields of Glass region of Mercury and features the Vex mind Panoptes and the Infinite Forest.
• It has eight story missions, adventures and strikes, and added the Leviathan raid variant "Leviathan, Eater of Worlds".
• It introduced Heroic Adventures with rotating modifiers.

Reception

It is considered one of the least popular expansions, due to its limited content. It and Destiny 2: Warmind are the two minor expansions of Year 1.
