History of Defiant Focusing

Overview

Defiant Focusing is a Triumph worth 15 points in the Quests group of the Season of Defiance triumphs. It counts toward the Queensguard title, which is awarded for 12 of the season's triumphs.

The objective is to focus each of the six Season of Defiance weapon engrams at the War Table in the H.E.L.M.. The six weapons are Perpetualis, Prodigal Return, Regnant, Caretaker, Raconteur and Royal Executioner. The armor counterpart is Defiant Bulwark.

How to complete

1. Unlock weapon focusing. Armor focusing is available from the start of the season. Weapon focusing unlocks after the start of Week 2, and the weapon must be in your Collections.
2. Collect Defiant Engrams. Each Defiant Battlegrounds activity grants a Defiant Engram, and the War Table reputation track adds more. Engrams are held on the War Table screen, not in your inventory, so check the Engram Tracker there.
3. Focus each weapon. Each of the six weapons costs 4 Defiant Engrams and 3,000 Glimmer. Focusing all six therefore takes 24 engrams and 18,000 Glimmer in total.
4. Use keys for extra engrams. Opening the chest at the end of a Battleground with a Defiant Key can give extra engrams if you have the Battleground Riches upgrade.

The triumph completes once all six weapons have been focused. Defiant Shaper and Defiant Arsenal cover the same six weapons from other angles.
