History of Deathbringer

Deathbringer is a Void Exotic Rocket Launcher from Destiny 2: Shadowkeep. Rather than a straight rocket it fires a looping projectile that drops Void orbs.

Overview

• Archetype: Heavy Rocket Launcher.
• Intrinsic perk: Dark Deliverance. Hold to fire, release to detonate; the orbs gain damage the longer they fall (Dark Descent).

Acquisition

Complete the Symphony of Death quest from Eris Morn after finishing the Shadowkeep campaign: Lunar Spelunker, Memory of Sai Mota, Faculties of the Skull, Tainted Lullaby and Marrow's Elegy, Thy Honored Conduction (The Scarlet Keep strike), Of Darkest Memory (a large kill grind) and Choir of the Damned (Circle of Bones).

Catalyst

The catalyst was added in Season of the Splicer. It drops from Strikes, Crucible and Gambit. Reach 400 kills with the weapon to unlock Dead Weight, which makes Dark Descent reach full damage faster.
