Death-Defying Encounter

Overview

Death-Defying Encounter is a triumph in Destiny 2. It requires the player to complete any encounter while the Token Limit feat is active. The triumph awards no additional rewards upon completion.

How to complete

To earn this triumph, the player must have the Token Limit feat active and complete any encounter. Feats are part of The Pantheon and are only available on Custom difficulty.

1. Open a The Pantheon encounter and set the difficulty to Custom.
2. Enable the Token Limit feat in the feat list.
3. Complete the encounter. Any encounter counts, so any Pantheon boss works.

Tips:

• Token Limit adds +1 to your Reward Grade. The Reward Grade controls the bonus loot from the encounter.
• Cutthroat Combatants (+4) and the Challenges feat (+3) add the most to the Reward Grade, so they give more loot than Token Limit when stacked with it.

Seal and rewards

The triumph itself awards no extra reward. Each encounter's Reward Grade gives loot: Grade 0 gives one Tier 3 engram, and Grade 5 gives three Tier 5 engrams.
