Overview

Dead Messenger Catalyst is a Triumph obtained from the Catalytic Converter triumph. Completing this objective awards no additional rewards or score. The triumph requires the player to defeat 200 targets in each of the three elemental modes of the Dead Messenger exotic hand cannon: Arc, Solar, and Void. Alternatively, the catalyst can be applied directly to the Shaped version of the weapon.

How to complete

To complete the Dead Messenger Catalyst triumph, the player must acquire the Dead Messenger exotic hand cannon. The weapon must be used to defeat enemies while utilizing its three distinct elemental modes. Specifically, the player needs to achieve:

• 200 kills with the weapon set to Arc mode.
• 200 kills with the weapon set to Solar mode.
• 200 kills with the weapon set to Void mode.

These kills can be accumulated in any activity where the weapon is equipped and active. Once all 600 total kills are achieved across the three modes, the catalyst becomes available for application.

Alternatively, if the player possesses the Shaped version of the Dead Messenger, they may apply the catalyst directly to that version without needing to complete the kill requirements.
