History of Crystocrene Gauntlets

Overview

Crystocrene Gauntlets is the Legendary Gauntlets for Titans in the Crystocrene armor set from Destiny 2: Beyond Light (launched with Season of the Hunt), and is the arm piece. The set is themed for survival on Europa: Destinypedia says the art drew on hockey padding and soldiers in winter gear, built for fighting the House of Salvation. The in-game flavor text is an excerpt from the "Eventide Welcome Guide".

Set bonuses

Wearing two pieces gives "Resupply" (bonus ammo progress and an Orb of Power after your next final blow when out of combat). Four pieces give "From the Storm", which slowly stacks Frost Armor while out of combat. Per search-result summaries, the 4-piece bonus was disabled in Crucible; PvE is unaffected. These come from secondary sources and may have changed since.

Acquisition

Unlocked through the Europa Arms quest from Variks on Europa: find Stasis-sealed chests holding Aged Armor, then return to Variks to have it identified. After the quest, pieces drop from activities on Europa as Legendary loot. Other class versions of this slot are covered on the Crystocrene page.
