Crystal Connoisseur

Overview

Crystal Connoisseur is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that asks you to collect Dark Matter Crystals for your Praxic Blade. Its progress bar is out of 3. Completing this triumph awards 200 Triumph Score.

How to complete

Each crystal is a random or fixed drop from a specific activity. Collect the crystals you do not have yet:

• Green and Blue: One comes from the starting drop of the Fire & Ice mission. The other comes from the Praxic Path exotic mission after a second Fire & Ice run.
• Taken: A random drop from the Equilibrium dungeon after you complete all three encounters, in any order. It is not subject to the weekly dungeon exotic lockout, so it can be farmed freely.
• Red: A random drop from Lawless Frontier Invader runs.
• Orange, Indigo and Magenta: Random drops from Lawless Frontier completions on Mars, Europa and Venus respectively.
• Cyan: A random drop from completing Exotic Faction Contracts, unlocked at Level 3 with a faction. Completing all three faction contracts in one run is recommended.
• Yellow: A reward from the exotic Praxic Professional Active Order, which requires defeating enemies with the Praxic Blade in Pinnacle Ops without dying.
• White, Gradient and Purple: Eververse-only, bought for 1000 Silver in packages that include a matching ornament.

Tip: the Taken crystal can be farmed on repeat from the dungeon, so pair it with other drops during the same session.
