Court of Thorns

The Court of Thorns is the main seat of power of Savathûn on Savathûn's Throne World. It is an instanced sector reached east from the Florescent Canal through a big door, and it is loaded via the Wellspring activity on Attack and Defend days.

Overview

The Court houses Savathûn's inner sanctum and a source of Light. The Lucent Brood populate it, and the Scorn frequently attack it. A deep portal inside the building leads to the topmost floor of the Apothecary, and climbing the whole structure leads to the Sanctum of the Brood Queen.

Lore

Guardians fought through the Court to take control of its deepest secret, the Wellspring, while the Scorn and the Lucent Brood defended it. During Savathûn's ritual to ensnare the Traveler, Guardians fought through the Court, confronted her at its summit, and were later led deeper into her Sanctum. A Guardian later returned to the Court to act as a host for Savathûn's Worm.

The Court first appeared in Destiny 2: The Witch Queen.
