History of Coldsnap Grenades

The Coldsnap Grenade is a Stasis grenade from Destiny 2: Beyond Light. It freezes targets on impact and sends out a second seeker to find and freeze more enemies.

It is earned from the Born in Darkness questline, which can only be started after the Beyond Light campaign is finished. The quest begins by talking to the Exo Stranger on Europa. Per the Born in Darkness Part 3 entry, the Coldsnap Grenade is that part's reward. Its steps include defeating Teraks's platoon near the Crux of Darkness in Eternity and bringing the Skeleton Key to the Exo Stranger in the Concealed Void Lost Sector in Asterion Abyss.
