History of Cold Comfort (Adept)

Overview

Cold Comfort (Adept) is a Legendary Stasis Rocket Launcher with the Aggressive Frame intrinsic. It is the Adept version of the Ghosts of the Deep rocket launcher reprised in Rite of the Nine. Its flavor text reads: "Do not be afraid."

Acquisition

Cold Comfort (Adept) drops from the Ghosts of the Deep dungeon during Rite of the Nine (May 6 to July 15, 2025). The Adept version is only available on Ultimatum difficulty, and higher dungeon scores raise the chance of an Adept or Holofoil variant.

The chest beside the Emissary of the Nine sells weapons from the active dungeon for 250 Nonary Manifold per opening. Attuning to one weapon in the event social space improves its odds.
