History of Cerberus+1 Catalyst

Cerberus+1 Catalyst is the upgrade triumph for the Cerberus+1 Exotic Auto Rifle: defeat 500 enemies with it.

How to complete

1. The catalyst itself drops at random from defeating non-Guardian enemies anywhere in the game, and the drop is rare (Game Rant), so expect a grind.
2. Once it drops, 500 kills with Cerberus+1 unlock the upgrade. Game Rant notes kills made before you got the catalyst count retroactively, so keep the gun equipped while farming the drop.
3. Farm kills in Strikes, Gambit or Crucible. Game Rant suggests that doing so also lets you farm other catalyst drops at once, but it also advises avoiding triggering other catalyst drops that compete in the same drop table (e.g. Black Talon).

Reward

The catalyst grants the Focused Fire perk: hold reload to swap to a narrower, close-range spread.
