Slug Launcher

The Slug Launcher is a Cabal firing style, not a separate weapon category. Its best-known example is Grand Overture, an Exotic Machine Gun that uses the Cabal Slug Launcher style.

Overview

Grand Overture's intrinsic, Wrath of the Colossus, is described as a heavy slug launcher that charges, then fires full auto while the trigger is held. Its Omega Strike trait is built on the same mechanic: hits with the slug launcher load missiles, and holding the alternate weapon action and then firing launches several Arc missiles in a volley.

Acquisition

The Grand Overture Catalyst is obtained by completing the Heavy Does It quest. The catalyst adds 20 to Handling and Stability, and missile explosions blind enemies caught in range, while enemies killed by missile impacts also explode.
