Buried Bloodline is an Exotic Void Sidearm that works like a hand crossbow and uses the Special ammo slot.

Acquisition

A low-chance random drop from the final boss of the Warlord's Ruin Dungeon. Completing dungeon triumphs can improve your odds, per The Loadout.

Catalyst

After you own the weapon, complete the quest "In the Shadow of the Mountain" and solve three torch-and-totem puzzles in Warlord's Ruin (shoot a Taken blight for the Imminent Wish buff, then activate the totems matching the lit torches): the jail section after the first boss, the bridge before the Blighted Chimaera, and the outdoor cavern after the mountain's heart. A secret boss in Primeval Thressia, reached through a Toland orb near the double-helix stairs before the final boss, completes it. The catalyst adds Splitvein Lineage: while Devour is active, the weapon weakens on hit. Shacknews cites 700 kills to finish it.
