Ben Yero

Overview

'''Ben Yero''' is the younger brother of Lodi (Louis Yero) and appears in the lore book Assumption.

As boys in Lodi, Wisconsin, in 1929, the brothers became interested in flight after a biplane flew over their hometown with their father and Uncle Tomás. In 1938, Ben and Louis took their father's truck to visit Uncle Tomás, ran out of fuel near Assumption, Illinois, and were approached by a figure that Ben wondered might be the Devil. In 1962 Louis met Ben in Lodi after many years apart, following their father's death, to settle accounts. A Ben from an alternate timeline appears in the 1960 Pine Ridge Reservation entry.
