Barrier Colossi

Barrier Colossi are Colossus-class champions protected by a Barrier, which must be broken before the enemy can be damaged. They appear in the Excavation Site XII Lost Sector on Firebase Hades in the European Dead Zone. The Lost Sector has one Barrier Colossus on Legend and two on Master.

Breaking the barrier

Use anti-barrier weapons. Which ones are recommended depends on the week's surge: Gjallarhorn or Xenophage in Solar weeks, and Regnant or Deathbringer in Void weeks. Use a grenade and a heavy weapon together to strip the barrier quickly, and kill the Colossus before it raises its barrier again. One Gjallarhorn shot per Champion is enough to set up the boss kill.
