History of Ascendant Alloy

Overview

Ascendant Alloy is an Exotic material used in weapon shaping for Enhanced Traits. It has a maximum capacity of 30. Bungie lists weekly campaign missions, certain vendor reward tracks, the Season Pass and purchase from the Tower Cryptarch as acquisition categories; which activities and reward tracks are available can change by episode or expansion. The earlier Osteo Striga catalyst requirement is not included here because Bungie’s current crafting guide describes Ascendant Alloys as crafting materials for Enhanced Traits.

Acquisition

Bungie’s general guide lists weekly campaign missions, certain vendor reward tracks, the Season Pass and purchase from the Cryptarch. Destiny Game Wiki additionally lists Master Rahool weekly purchases (10 Enhancement Prisms and 10,000 Glimmer), Banshee-44 rank rewards, Competitive placement and weekly challenge rewards, and some quest or event rewards. Those specific routes are subject to game updates; check the current vendor and activity reward screens before farming.
