History of Arcadian Valley

Arcadian Valley is the destination on Nessus, the Centaur (a Vex-infested planetoid), and the crash site of the Exodus Black, a Golden Age colony ship launched before the Collapse. It is not part of Kepler or Titan.

Regions

Landing zones: Artifact's Edge, Exodus Black, The Cistern and Watcher's Grave, with sub-regions such as the Inverted Spire and Well of Flame.

Activities

4 strikes (Exodus Crash and The Inverted Spire among them), 8 adventures and story missions (including "Six" and "Looped"); Lost Sectors: The Orrery, The Rift, Carrion Pit, The Conflux and Ancient's Haunt. The Crucible map Endless Vale and the Gambit map Legion's Folly are here.

Enemies

Vex, plus the Cabal Red Legion and House of Dusk Fallen after the Red War.

Lore

Survivors of the Exodus Black sent distress signals to Earth but died when the Vex noticed them; only the ship's AI, Failsafe, remains. In the Red War the Cabal and Fallen set up competing presences.

History

Nessus was among the destinations available at Destiny 2's launch and has stayed active across expansions and seasons. Unlike Titan, Mars and Mercury, it was not among the destinations removed into the Destiny Content Vault with Destiny 2: Beyond Light.
