Anti-Extinction Plate is the Titan chest piece of the Anti-Extinction set, the faction armor of Dead Orbit. The quote from The Book of Departures (Canto I) concerns what it takes to be selected as an Arach.

The set is sold by Arach Jalaal and drops from Dead Orbit Engrams. As Year 1 base-game gear, it was priced at 15 to 25 Legendary Shards and 10 Dead Orbit Tokens, with a minimum level of 20.
