Overview

The Aionians are the human descendants of the AION Initiative colonists on Kepler. They reached the planetoid before or during the Golden Age and have remained isolated since. The Collapse cut the colony off from Earth, and the colonists learned of the disaster 1.7 years later, owing to light-speed delay. They survived and became the Aionians. They revere a gravitational singularity beneath the surface, which they call the "Holy Anomaly".

Leadership

The Aionians are led by Dean Rebecca. In The Edge of Fate, the Guardian is introduced to Rebecca by Lodi. Lodi explains that Aionian language is a mark of high status there.

Relations

The House of Exile, a Fallen faction that settled on Kepler, initially had peaceful relations with the Aionians. Later, Archon Levaszk led the House against them, cutting them off from the Singularity in an attempt to ascend.

Story

In The Edge of Fate, Rebecca asks for help after the Aionians' Acceleron is stolen by a Vex Mind. The Aionians' food supplies are later attacked in Mission: Fallow at the Agricultural Center.
