Accelerated Heatsink

Overview

Accelerated Heatsink is a Basic-rarity Battery perk introduced in Season 28. It slightly reduces the weapon's damage in exchange for faster cooling. It is a trade-off rather than a straight upgrade, so it suits guns where keeping heat down matters more than the last few points of damage.

How it compares

The Heatsink family on Bitter End shows the range of choices. Overclocked Heatsink does the opposite and slightly increases damage while cooling more slowly. Ionized Heatsink greatly reduces heat generation but slows venting, and Enhanced Heatsink reduces heat generation. Accelerated Heatsink is the option to take when cooling is the priority.

Weapons

It rolls on a range of weapon types, including Machine Guns such as Bitter End, Submachine Guns and Sidearms. Other weapons that can roll it include Vikala SMG4, Modified B-7 Pistol, High Tyrant, Zealous Ideal and Voltaic Shade.

Tips

It suits builds where a small loss of damage is acceptable in return for better cooling, such as long fights where a weapon would otherwise overheat.
