History of A Sword, an Edge

A Sword, an Edge is a lore triumph for the Inspiral book, added with Lightfall (February 2023). Its triumph shows 0/2 progress.

== How to unlock ==

• Inspiral entries are found in the Root of Nightmares raid: by interacting with green bowls, completing specific encounters and opening secret chests.
• Ishtar Collective says this entry comes from a calcified fragment left by a Hive phantasm; Destinypedia says the phantasm leaves a calcified fragment to mark its passing. Neither gives the exact location, so treat it as unconfirmed.

== Entry summary ==

Voiced as the Hive creator: it teaches that "what can be destroyed, must be destroyed", a philosophy it crafted to raise the Hive and their worms in symbiosis. It chose the path of the sword while knowing alternatives, notes the worms depend on the Hive more than the reverse, and insists other ideas persist "in the blank spaces of dogma". Destinypedia attributes the voice to Savathûn.
