History of A Superior Retainer

A Superior Retainer is a triumph for completing the raid lair Leviathan, Spire of Stars on Prestige difficulty (Warmind era, May 2018). It is reported to be in the Reaper seal path.

How to complete

• Complete the whole lair at Prestige: Statue Garden orb puzzle, the power-conduit jumping puzzle, the Celestial Observatory ship phase, and the final boss Val Ca'uor.
• The name comes from the Superior Retainer buff: three random players get it and can ride the spire into space without dying. One retainer calls out ship symbols while the others stand on matching plates.
• Only Solar shields are present, so bring Solar weapons. Whisper of the Worm was recommended for damage phases (2018 advice).

Notes

The lair was sunset with Beyond Light in November 2020, so older power-level advice no longer applies.
